The Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute has access to the following databases as part of the Virtual Science Library programme: Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, EBSCO, Web of Science, Scopus, ACS. Access to the above databases is provided on computers within the Institute’s network. Remote access is possible via VPN.
The databases cover a wide range of disciplines; their content can be browsed using simple or advanced search functions, and filters can then be applied to narrow down the search results, e.g. by subject area, journal articles, year of publication, etc.

I. Full-text databases
- Science Library – the licence archives of the Virtual Science Library, previously hosted on the Infona server, are now available on the Science Library server, which has been the sole host for licence archives since 1 January 2025. These archives include journals from Elsevier, Springer and Wiley, as well as books from Springer. These resources are regularly supplemented and updated.
