ReduCost Seminar: Assessing the Potential for Air Pollution Reduction and the Costs and Benefits of Mitigation Measures

We kindly invite you to the ReduCost Seminar: Assessing the potential for air pollution reduction and the costs and benefits of mitigation actions.

The REDUCOST project (Assessment of air pollution emission reduction potential and the costs of mitigation actions, taking into account technical, financial, and social aspects) is nearing completion. Its key results will be presented at an expert seminar on 27 May 2025, hosted at the Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute (IOŚ-PIB), ul. Słowicza 32, Warsaw.

The seminar will bring together air pollution emissions, public health, and environmental economics experts. It will feature analyses of three key emission sectors—residential, transport, and agriculture—as well as related changes in the energy production sector.

The agenda includes:

  • analyses of potential emission reduction scenarios
  • external costs of various mitigation measures
  • potential health and environmental co-benefits
